Import Demo

Please make sure that you have unzipped the theme package that you download on Theme Forest before upload it to your store. Otherwise, you will get the issue: zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template "layout/theme.liquid". Then please upload Kalles_2.x.zip file to your store. 
1. With Kalles 4.0.0
When you install Kalles successfully, let follow these stages to import a Demo theme
Step 1: Open folder Kalles 4.0.0
After downloading, please remember that you need to extract the package zip file first and then open file "Kalles 4".
Step 2: Open “DATA_JSON”
After open file Kalles_4, You will see several zip files, please extract all and then Click on file "DATA_JSON" to continue.
Notice: With each DATA_JSON file contains demo files, please check all of them if you want to find any demo.
Step 3: Open file Kalles Json
And then click "Kalles JSON" file to see all the Demo.
Step 4: Choose a Home Demo and copy data file
Choose a Home Demo that you want and open it you will see Index.jon and Settingdata.json files.
Notice: You must install Sublime Text (or other editor softwares) to your device in order to open index.json and settingdata.json. You can click here and choose the suitable Sublime Text version to install.
Step 5: Copy code to the theme file
1.From the current theme you want to import, go to Theme Actions -> Edit Code.
2.Search the index.json and settings_data.json file on the Search bar.
3.Copy all the codes of index.json and settings_data.json from Demo file.
4.Replace the codes copied for all the codes in index.json and settings_data.json file of Shopify Edit Code
Let see an example:
After importing both Index.jon and Settingdata.json codes. You have already completed Import a Demo Page.
2. With Kalles from EComposer 
The version of Kalles for EComposer has some differences from Kalles 4, please note these are two separate versions.
Some FAQs about Kalles EComposer
1.I have Kalles 4 installed and full features, why do I need Kalles for EComposer?
Kalles 4 (and previous Kalles versions) is of great quality, however EComposer was not developed to replace Kalles 4. It was made to fix Shopify editor problems, with Kalles 4 you You can only customize everything the theme or Shopify allows but with Kalles EComposer you are free to change the layout however you want.
2.When should I use Kalles EComposer?
When you have a high need to build landing pages or about, contact... at your discretion. You can absolutely use EComposer to create those pages.
3.I just want to use Kalles 4, is that possible?
Absolutely, if your need is everything Kalles 4 has then just use it. Kalles EComposer is only recommended when you have high customization needs, want more advanced functions (like upsell extensions, high quality layouts...). To use Kalles EComposer, you are still required to install Kalles 4.
4.What is EComposer better than Shopify editor?
It's pretty hard to explain it all here, you can try the demo at https://demo.ecomposer.app . To import Kalles demo for EComposer version, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Upload Kalles 4 and activate the theme
Please follow the existing tutorial on activating the theme here.
Step 2: Install EComposer App
Go to EComposer link from Shopify app store and install it
Step 3: Go to EComposer app and enable App Block
Please follow this quick guide from EComposer team to understand this step. 
Step 4: Import Demo
Go to EComposer app > Pages > Home Page > Start Building
From Editor, you will see a Kalles's logo, just click and choose layout you want to import
3. With Kalles 3.0.0
Step 1: Open folder Kalles 3.0.0 
Step 2: Open Kalles 3 data
Step 3: Edit theme and copy data file
Choose a home you want to import by open with Editor software from your computer
Step 4: Copy code to the theme file 
4. With Kalles 2.7.4 and earlier
Step 1: Open data config file
1.1 - On the file downloaded from https://themeforest.net/, it has a file called 'DEMO DATA'.  
Open version 2.x.x
1.2 - You need to go DEMO DATA > Choose the Home layout you want > Open file > Copy all data
Note:  You can use the Sublime Text to open the file. 
Step 2: Copy to your theme
2.1 - Go to Customize > Theme actions >  Edit code 
2.2 -  Open "setting_data.json" file > Paste all the data which copied from ''DEMO DATA' to here > click to 'SAVE'
NOTE: 
Just support import config sections the same on demo, NOT support import images, products, data the same on demo.
